ACB searches at suspended ASP Bhujanga Rao’s residence

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is conducting searches at the residence of suspended Additional Superintendent of Police Bhujanga Rao. Officials are also carrying out raids at the houses of his relatives.
The searches follow information about assets allegedly disproportionate to his known sources of income. A total of 15 locations are being covered in the operation.
Teams fan out across Hyderabad and Suryapet areas
ACB officials are conducting simultaneous searches in Suryapet and several parts of Hyderabad. Bhujanga Rao was earlier suspended in connection with a phone tapping case.
ACB teams have split into multiple groups to carry out the raids.
