Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy says Bhu Bharati portal ready by March

HYDERABAD: The Telangana government will roll out the revamped Bhu Bharati portal in full scale by March, integrating revenue, survey, stamps and registration services under a single digital platform, state revenue, housing and information and public relations minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said on Tuesday.
The portal has been designed to deliver improved, transparent public services, with comprehensive details of agricultural and non-agricultural lands, endowment lands, forest lands, wakf properties and other categories available in one place, the minister said.
He was speaking after releasing the 2026 diary of the Telangana Revenue Employees Services Association (TRESSA) at Nampally. Ponguleti said the people of Telangana had voted for the Indiramma government with the hope of relief from long-standing problems in the revenue system under the previous decade-long regime.
Under the leadership of chief minister Revanth Reddy, the government has been strengthening the revenue administration step by step down to the village level and introducing multiple reforms, he said, adding that more work remained to be done.
The minister said the government had taken several “path-breaking decisions” over the past two years, in line with the chief minister’s vision of providing a permanent solution to decades-old land disputes. He added that the Bhu Bharati portal had emerged as a model for the country.
To strengthen the survey wing, which he described as critical to farmers’ land security, the government has already appointed 3,500 licensed surveyors and will recruit another 3,000 within a week, Ponguleti said.
On government employees’ issues, he said the administration understood their concerns and that delays were due to the state’s financial constraints. He assured that all benefits due to employees would be extended by the government.
TRESSA president and general secretaries Vanga Ravinder Reddy and Goutham Kumar, treasurer Ramanareddy, cultural director Enugu Narsimha Reddy, Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association leaders Eluri Srinivas and Jagadish, revenue divisional officer Upender Reddy, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation zonal commissioner Chandrakala and others attended the event.
