Officials said the festival, which began on November 22, will run until November 30, and footfall is expected to rise further over the weekend.

The cultural week has featured 29 folk art performances by 298 artistes from Western India. The lineup includes Rajasthani traditions such as Mashak Vadan, Ravana Hatta, Bahurupiyya, Kalbeliya Nritya, Mayur Nritya and Bhavai; Goa’s Ghumat Vadan and Samayi Nritya; Gujarat’s Siddhi Dhamaal, Talwar Raas and Garbha; Maharashtra’s Dhol Tasha, Lezim, Songi Mukota and Lavani-Koli; and Bhovada and Tarpan Nritya from Dadra, Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu.

Cultural performances, artisans’ demonstrations, workshops and interactive sessions have remained major draws.
