Hyderabad hosts 450 delegates from 100 nations at Bharat Summit 2025

Hyderabad: Nearly 450 delegates from over 100 countries have descended on Hyderabad for the Bharat Summit 2025. All is set for the two-day landmark global conference, which will commence at HICC on Friday.
Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will deliver keynote addresses on Friday and Saturday, respectively. AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge will also be attending the event.
As Hyderabad is set to host the global leaders and delegate for the summit, the Congress government will try to showcase Telangana as a model State with progressive thinking to the global audience.
The theme of the summit is ‘Delivering Global Justice’. The participants will be divided into various groups to explore topics like gender justice, climate action, and economic equity, all aimed at promoting global good and ensuring politics drives development rather than division.
On Day 1, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu and Minister of IT D Sridhar Babu, will deliver the inaugural welcome remarks on behalf of the Government of Telangana. Subsequently, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge will deliver the keynote addresses
On Day 2, Priyanka Gandhi and KC Venugopal will deliver keynote addresses and the Summit will conclude with a valedictory session.
The Bharat Summit holds historical and symbolic significance as it marks the 70th anniversary of the Bandung Conference, which laid the foundation for the Non-Aligned Movement.
The event will also see participation from prominent global heads of political organisations and renowned sectoral experts, including representatives from nearly 100 progressive political parties, 40 to 50 ministers, and around 50 senators and members of parliament.
The Bharat Summit seeks to transform the state of Telangana into a permanent platform for all progressive forces committed to a democratic, liberal, and just world order. It also aims to position Telangana as a modern-day meeting ground for global thinkers, reformers, and changemakers.
