Bhadradri Kothagudem minor delivers stillborn at exam centre
TELANGANA:Â An incident at Palvoncha in Bhadradri Kothagudem district has caused concern after a minor Intermediate first-year student delivered a stillborn baby in the washroom of her examination centre.
According to available information, the girl sought permission from the invigilator and went to the washroom during the examination. When she did not return for a long time, staff grew suspicious and checked the premises.
She had delivered the baby inside the washroom. Doctors later confirmed that the infant was stillborn.
Medical care provided, investigation underway
After the incident came to light, examination centre staff shifted the girl to a hospital. She is undergoing treatment under medical supervision. Doctors said her condition is stable.
Police were informed and registered a case. An inquiry has begun.
