Basara bridge fall kills UK MBA student
Basara : A 25-year-old MBA student from Nandipet mandal died after accidentally falling into the Godavari river at Basara in Nirmal district on Tuesday.
Ramavath Saikiran, a resident of Kaulpur village in Nandipet mandal, was pursuing an MBA in the UK. He had recently returned to his native village and was scheduled to return to the UK on September 5.
Saikiran falls into river while taking photos
Saikiran visited the Sri Gnana Saraswathi Temple at Basara on Tuesday. After offering prayers, he was taking photographs on a bridge when he accidentally fell into the river.
His family members learnt about the incident and began searching for him. His body was found on Wednesday.
Police register case based on father’s complaint
Following a complaint from his father, Ramavath Bhojaram, police registered a case at the local police station and began an investigation.
