HYDERABAD: Forest Range Officer (FRO) Ramana Rao was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials in Bapatla district on Thursday for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹2 lakh.

According to officials, the officer was receiving the money from a contractor near Nagaravanam when the ACB team, acting on prior information, trapped him. Sources said the operation was part of a pre-planned sting after the contractor approached the ACB with a complaint. The officials seized the cash and took Ramana Rao into custody for further investigation.
