Bandi Bhagirath’s Police Custody Ends in POCSO Case

HYDERABAD: Police custody of Bandi Bhagirath in the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act case ended on Friday.
Following court orders, police questioned Bhagirath for three days. Investigators also conducted a scene reconstruction as part of the inquiry. Police examined the accused from multiple angles during the custody period.
Police Complete Court-Ordered Custody
With the custody period ending, police produced Bhagirath before the Medchal court and later shifted him to Cherlapally Central Prison.
Sources said investigators gathered key information during the three-day questioning. Bhagirath was arrested in the POCSO case and has been lodged in Cherlapally jail as a remand prisoner.
