Six youths held for dangerous bike stunts on Attapur roads

HYDERABAD: Six youngsters were apprehended by the Commissioner’s Task Force, Rajendranagar Zone, along with Attapur police, for allegedly performing dangerous bike stunts and rash driving on public roads in Attapur, police said.
According to police, the accused were involved in reckless activities such as triple riding, overspeeding and stunt riding, creating panic among commuters and pedestrians while endangering public safety.
Police said two motorcycles and six mobile phones used during the alleged offences were seized during the operation.
The accused were identified as Syed Shahed, 19, Shaik Naseer Hussain, 19, Shaik Junaid, 18, Mohammed Bin Isa, 17, Abdul Samad, 20, and Mohammed Arbaz Hussain Khan, 22.
Police said the first four accused were previously involved in a petty case related to bike stunts registered at Bahadurpura police station.
Mohammed Arbaz Hussain Khan was earlier booked in a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act case registered at Attapur police station in Crime No. 76/2024 under Sections 354 and 448 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 7 read with Section 8 of the POCSO Act, police added.
Officials said cases were registered against the accused for dangerous driving and creating public nuisance.
