Armoor Gas Leak Fire Injures Mother and Son

Telangana : A gas leak from a cylinder pipe triggered a fire at a chicken shop in the Kashi Hanuman area of Armoor town on Sunday, leaving a mother and her son seriously injured.
Konduru Rukumbai and her son Rajesh earn their livelihood by selling chicken and grocery items at the shop. According to local residents, a leak developed in a cylinder pipe used for cleaning chickens, causing the fire to spread rapidly.
Mother suffers severe burns, son injured while dousing flames
Rajesh sustained burn injuries to his hands and face while trying to control the flames. Rukumbai suffered severe burns across her body.
The fire spread to grocery stocks in the shop, leading to extensive flames and damage.
Firefighters bring blaze under control
After receiving information from locals, fire services personnel rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
The injured were shifted to a private hospital in Armoor for initial treatment and later referred to the Government General Hospital (GGH) for advanced medical care. Rukumbai’s condition is reported to be critical.
