HYDERABAD: Annapurna Studios announces the addition of Andreas Brueckl to its creative team, led by CTO CV Rao. Brueckl is a highly respected senior colourist with over twenty years of experience in Europe and Asia. His portfolio includes feature films, premium OTT content, and international commercial campaigns.

He is a pioneer in modern colour grading workflows and was the first colourist to introduce and implement ACES at scale in Asia. Brueckl graded India’s first HDR Dolby Vision feature film for Netflix and was the first to use scene-referred colour grading. He played a key role in establishing contemporary HDR and colour-managed pipelines for long-form storytelling.

Andreas is recognized for his refined cinematic textures and deep understanding of cameras, lenses, and lighting. His work on projects such as Paatal Lok, Jailer, Sacred Games, Maidaan, Delhi Crime, and Daaku Maharaj has influenced visual trends across the industry. He has also collaborated on projects in Los Angeles, Europe, and the Middle East.
