30 tribal welfare Gurukul students fall ill after suspected food poisoning in Nagarkurnool

HYDERABAD: Around 30 students of a Tribal Welfare Boys Gurukul School at Amrabad in Nagarkurnool district fell ill after allegedly consuming contaminated food on Thursday morning.
The students developed vomiting and other health complications minutes after having breakfast. School staff alerted senior officials and shifted the affected students to the government hospital for treatment.
Officials rush to school as students report illness
Doctors who treated the students said their condition was stable. Officials are monitoring their health and providing necessary medical care.
Authorities suspect food poisoning as the cause of the incident. An inquiry is expected to ascertain the source of the suspected contamination.
