Ghmc Issues Notice To Allu Aravind For Illegal Floor

HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Monday issued a showcause notice to film producer Allu Aravind for alleged illegal construction at his property in Jubilee Hills.

The building, located on Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills, houses the Geetha Arts office. Aravind owns the plot measuring 996 square metres at survey number 8-2-293/82/775/A. GHMC officials said permission was granted for two cellars and ground plus four floors. However, an additional floor was constructed in violation of the sanctioned plan.

The notice asked Aravind to explain why the illegal floor should not be demolished. Officials also questioned how the construction was carried out against approved plans.
