Air India bus gutted in fire on Hyderabad ORR, crew escapes

HYDERABAD: An Air India bus was completely gutted after a fire broke out on the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road near Pedda Amberpet on Tuesday.

The bus was travelling from the Shamshabad Airport workshop to Autonagar for servicing when flames suddenly erupted, reportedly due to a short circuit.

Flames spread rapidly due to intense heat

The fire spread quickly because of the intense heat, engulfing the vehicle within a short time. The bus was completely destroyed in the blaze.

The driver and cleaner, who noticed the fire in time, immediately jumped out of the vehicle and escaped unharmed.

No passengers were on board at the time of the incident. Authorities are expected to assess the damage and investigate the exact cause of the fire.
