AIMIM leader Ahmed Pasha Quadri dies in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader and former MLA Syed Ahmed Pasha Quadri died due to illness at his residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday. He was undergoing dialysis, party sources said.
Quadri was a four-time legislator. He represented Charminar Assembly constituency three times and Yakutpura once.
Four-time legislator from Old City
A senior leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, Quadri was a prominent face of the party in Hyderabad’s Old City. He won repeatedly from Charminar Assembly constituency and later served as MLA from Yakutpura Assembly constituency.
Party leaders condole
AIMIM leaders expressed grief over his death and recalled his long association with the party and his electoral victories in the city.
