Aimim Receives Majority Of Funds From Outside Telangana

Hyderabad: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) reported that a significant portion of its financial contributions for the fiscal year 2022-23 came from outside Telangana.

According to the party’s submission of Form 24-A to the Election Commission of India(ECI), most donations came from individuals and entities in other states, including Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. The contribution report reveals several donors from cities like Aurangabad and Moradabad, each donating over Rs20,000. Notably, major donations came from outside Hyderabad.

This data shows that while AIMIM is a recognized political entity in Telangana, its financial backing appears to be largely driven by contributions from supporters in other states.

Donations range from Rs 15,000 to Rs 500,000. Leading the list of donors, Mahdi Hasan from Moradabad pledged Rs 500,000 and Akthar Khan from Aurangabad contributed Rs 220,000, making significant contributions. Other notable donors include Waseem Akram and Zeeshan from Moradabad, each contributing Rs 200,000, and Saleem Daulat Patel, Shaik Akram Athar, and Shahbaz Khan from Aurangabad, each contributing Rs 100,000. Several donors contributed Rs 50,000, including Shaik Fahad Bawazir, Syed Siraj, Syed Salahuddin, Shaik Mohammed Sohail, Shaik Salam Bawazir, and Feroz Khan.

The report shows smaller contributions from individuals like Mir Hidayat Ali (Rs 30,000) and Syed Mir Zoheb Ali (Rs 35,000). Azeem contributed Rs 49,000, and Arshad Ali donated Rs 20,000.
