Adilabad: RTC bus falls off bridge

ADILABAD: An Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus fell off a bridge in Shyampur village of Utnoor mandal in Adilabad district on Monday morning, leaving five passengers seriously injured.
Five passengers injured in mishap
The bus, belonging to the Asifabad depot, plunged from the bridge in Shyampur. The driver and five passengers sustained severe injuries in the accident.
Around 25 passengers were on board
At the time of the mishap, around 25 passengers were travelling in the bus. On receiving information from locals, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a hospital for treatment.
Residents said accidents frequently occur on the narrow bridge.
