Actress Hayathi, husband booked in Hyderabad harassment case

HYDERABAD: Police in Filmnagar have registered a case against actress Hayathi and her husband following a complaint by a domestic worker from Odisha.

According to the complainant, she was employed at the couple’s residence but was not paid for her work. She alleged that she was later forced out without receiving her wages.

Actress and husband accused of non-payment, harassment

The woman further accused Hayathi and her husband of subjecting her to harassment. She told police that they attempted to strip her naked and beat her after their pet dog barked. She also alleged that they tried to film her in a compromising state.

Based on the complaint, police have booked the actress and her husband under relevant sections. An investigation is under way.
