Actor Ravi Teja injured on sets, gets a surgery done at Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: Tollywood actor, Ravi Teja sustains a muscle tear while he was filming for one of his upcoming films. According to the makers, the actor continued to shoot despite an injury and the situation got aggravated, resulting in a surgery. Ravi Teja was operated at Yashoda Hospitals in Hyderabad.
The team took to social media and informed that “Mass Maharaja #Raviteja recently sustained a muscle tear in his right hand during the filming of #RT75. Despite the injury, he continued to shoot, which unfortunately led to further aggravation. Yesterday, He underwent a successful surgery at Yashoda Hospitals and as per medical advice, he has been prescribed six weeks of bed rest to ensure a complete recovery.”
Post his injury, a picture of Ravi Teja from hospital has also gone viral on social media. Thousands of his fans are taking it to X, a microblogging site previously known as Twitter and are wishing their favorite actor a speedy recovery.

Ravi Teja, was on the sets of RT75. The film stars Sreelela in the lead role and was initially aiming for a Sankranthi release.
Meanwhile, Ravi Teja was last seen in a Telugu film, Mr Bachchan under the direction of Harish Shankar starring Bhagyashri Borse in the lead roles. The film has received a lukewarm response at the box office and did not achieve the desired results. And Ravi Teja has moved on to the shooting of his next film, which is tentatively titled as #RT75, noting that it is Ravi Teja’s 75th film.
Mr Bachchan was produced on a large scale by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. The film had a theatrical release on the occasion of Indian Independence Day on August 15, 2024, it was mounted as a commercial entertainer. While the songs impressed the audience, the film failed to do so.
