ACB raids MeeSeva centre in Amberpet

HYDERABAD: Officials check devices, applications at MeeSeva centres
Statewide inspections ordered to detect irregularities
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids on a MeeSeva centre in Amberpet on Wednesday evening.
The centre, identified as Sri Vens Net Den MeeSeva, is located opposite Amberpet police station. Officials searched the premises as part of a statewide drive.
ACB Deputy Superintendent of Police Srinivas Reddy said the inspections were being carried out across MeeSeva centres following orders from higher authorities.
Owner questioned separately during ACB inspection
He said officials were examining mobile phones and computers of operators, along with customer application forms. “If any irregularities are found, a report will be submitted to senior officials,” he added.
ACB officials also questioned the centre owner, Jayanti, separately as part of the inquiry.
