Acb To Produce Dsp Sankireddy Bheem Reddy Before Court In Disproportionate Assets Case

HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sankireddy Bheem Reddy in a disproportionate assets case involving assets allegedly worth nearly ₹300 crore. Officials are expected to produce him before a magistrate on Tuesday for remand proceedings.

The ACB arrested Bheem Reddy at around 7.40 pm on Monday from his residence at Vessella Meadows in Ibrahimbagh, Hyderabad.

After the arrest, ACB officials took him to Osmania General Hospital for the mandatory medical examination. They will present him before the court after completing the formalities.

Bheem Reddy is currently posted with the Police Computer Services (PCS) in Hyderabad. The ACB registered the disproportionate assets case after searches allegedly uncovered assets worth nearly ₹300 crore.

The investigation is continuing.
