ACB books Ranga Reddy assistant director in disproportionate assets case

HYDERABAD: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Telangana, has registered a case of disproportionate assets against K. Srinivasulu, assistant director, Survey, Settlement and Land Records, Ranga Reddy district, alleging that he amassed properties far beyond his known sources of income through corrupt practices and dubious means.
ACB officials said the case was booked under Section 13(1)(b) read with 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, as amended in 2018.
Raids conducted at seven places
Searches were carried out on December 4, 2025 at his residence Flat No. H1-901, My Home Bhooja Apartments, Raidurgam, Hyderabad and six other locations belonging to his relatives, friends, benamis and associates.
Officials list flats, plots, gold and cash
During the raids, the ACB found documents related to a flat at My Home Bhooja, one food processing unit/rice mill in Narayanpet district, 11 acres of agricultural land in Karnataka, 11 acres in Anantapur district, four plots in Mahabubnagar and three plots in Narayanpet.
Officials also seized ₹5,00,000 in cash, 16g of gold ornaments, 770g of silver articles, and two vehicles a Kia Seltos and an Innova.
The ACB noted that the market value of the movable and immovable properties is likely to be significantly higher than the documented value.
Further verification of additional assets is under way and the case is under investigation, the ACB said.
ACB urges public to report bribe demands
The bureau asked the public to report any demand for bribe by government employees through the toll-free number 1064. Complaints may also be sent through WhatsApp (9440446106) or the official social media handles of ACB Telangana on Facebook and X.
The ACB added that the identity of complainants would be kept confidential.
