18-month-old girl dies after being struck by car in Jawaharnagar

Hyderabad: An 18-month-old girl tragically died after being hit by a car in Jawaharnagar, Hyderabad, on December 12, 2024.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the toddler was playing in front of her house and was struck by a car. The driver fled the scene following the accident.
The girl’s family immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation.
Authorities are reviewing footage from closed-circuit cameras in an effort to identify the vehicle involved in the accident.
A case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing.
